About The Event

Developing communication and language through musical play

What?

Do you work with very young children? Are you a speech and language specialist? Would you love musical ideas to introduce to very young children so as to encourage vocalising without pressure? Would you like to know more about music in early learning and helping language development?

Who?

People working with very young children including those with signs of language delay will explore approaches to nurturing communication through soundplay, musical adventures and games. This twilight course is full of practical suggestions to develop vocalising through multi-sensory play, using instruments, visuals and movement.

Participants will each receive downloadable resources and a wealth of useful information including our guidance document 'Understanding Music in Early Childhood.'
