Music Co-Ordinator

Music House for Children is seeking a full time Music Co-ordinator to work along side the Education Manager with a special interest and experience in early years and group teaching.

The role includes


Group Instrumental teaching and cover as required


Early Years group teaching and cover as required

Co-ordinate teacher placement and support


 

Assist Music House’s team in


Development of early years and group teaching programmes

Development of teaching books

Monitor and assessment of music teachers (in and out of the school)

General administrative duties

Client and teacher communication


Development and delivery of workshops, shows and concerts

 

The candidate should


Be a trained instrumental teacher (preferably a multi-instrumentalist)


Have early years teaching experience and love working with nursery ages.


Be computer savvy including having experience with data input and online presence


Have knowledge in computer software including Adobe Suite, proficient with iOS (Apple)

Have excellent communication and customer service skills


Be an effective and proactive team player


Be comfortable with managing deadlines


Bring a creative flair and energy to the role, and willing to learn new avenues

We are seeking a full-time music educator and co-ordinator to work alongside the Education Manager.

The role includes:

- Group Instrumental teaching and cover as required

- Early Years teaching and cover as required

- Co-ordinate teacher placement and support

- Co-ordinate and input of online training courses and teaching books

Assist Education Manager in:

- Development and input of early years and group teaching programmes

- Management of online and practical early years training courses

- Monitoring and assessment of music leaders General administrative duties

- Client and teacher communication

- Development and delivery of workshops, shows and concerts

- Developing new educational initiatives and creative projects

The candidate should:

- Be a trained instrumental teacher (preferably a multi-instrumentalist)

- Have early years teaching experience

- Be computer savvy including having experience with data input and online presence

- Have knowledge in computer software including Adobe Suite, proficient with iOS (Apple)

- Have excellent communication and customer service skills

- Be an effective and proactive team player

Shortlisting will take place in February. Interviews will be held in early March.
