TRAINING
"ONE OF THE BEST TRAINING EVENTS THAT I'VE ATTENDED IN TWENTY YEARS OF TEACHING"
- REDHILL COMMUNITY SCHOOL
Every term, Music House for Children provides pre-term get-togethers and training to support ongoing quality assurance, professional development and musical delivery. Training priorities each term include working with nursery groups, group instrumental appreciation, birthday and workshop events and music with additional needs including autism and hearing loss. Attendees can expect hand-outs, downloadable resources and top tips.
In addition, Emma Hutchinson, Founder of Music House for Children, runs training courses on varied subjects in conjunction with organisations such as Sound Connections and Tri-Borough Music Hub. See below for more information and forthcoming dates.
Recent feedback from a training attendee with Birmingham Sounds of Play project:
"Emma, thank you so much, it’s been amazing! I have learnt so much and will be feeding back to the team. The handouts will also be helpful."
