About The Event

What can you expect?

As part of the Youth Music funded Tri-Borough's Tri-Music Together project, Emma will provide lots of resources and ideas to engage babies and their siblings in musical play.  Pop-up rhymes, tickle games, spontaneous peek-a-boo sound-play, character movement (marching, climbing, flying games) are all part of a melting pot of practical ideas including using home resources such as boxes in musical ways to ignite shared humour, imagination, and adventure.

Expect downloadable songs, resources and links to other organisations supporting early childhood music.

Who is this session for?

Childminders and people working with very young children, toddlers and young children with siblings across the H&F, Westminster and K&C boroughs. Be ready to move, join in and share your ideas and experiences!

Led by Emma Hutchinson.

Music House for Children is part of the Tri-Music Together consortium (https://www.triboroughmusichub.org/early-years/) to develop and strengthen skills and delivery in early childhood music across the three boroughs. Emma has an MA in early childhood music and 30+ years of teaching, training and research. She has presented many training events, courses and literature on the significance of music in early childhood.
