Delivering Music to the early years
What?
Music is often viewed as a separate topic, an optional extra, or playful activity unrelated to EYFS requirements. Imagine if you could use music to awaken all areas of development and learning, whilst achieving EYFS outcomes. With musical ideas you could foster new skills and a shared love for music making and creative led learning? This popular training course explains why music is essential in developing an embedded experience and understanding of all areas of early curriculum development. We share new skills to embed music making across a nursery, or routine day. From painting to block building to reading, letter learning and equation we will share musical ideas as an accessible, flexible and valuable asset to assist in early childhood development.
Who?
This twilight course is ideal for those working with young children as an additional skill to existing qualifications and experience.
All participants will receive an illustrative music teaching book (worth £20), downloadable resources and a wealth of useful and up-to-date information guiding participants in music making and language development.
